During Forest Week, I went out looking for beautiful forest areas.
Gerald, a good friend who is also an enthusiastic nature lover and who can be contacted via his website: www.mausblau.at, provided me with this rare example of a red elder tree located in the middle of a forest.
My husband drew my attention to the new tree plantation alongside the older trees; hopefully, the summer heat will not damage them!
These chestnut trees survived the great chestnut tree demise of the past years in a well-maintained grove. A beautiful sight!
We discovered this healthy, well-maintained young forest while driving by. It is protected from damage by game by a fence.
Healthy nature pure!
Hopefully for many years to come!
